Bauer Design Build Begins Construction on Trelleborg Medical Solutions Innovation Center

DELANO, Minn. — Bauer Design Build has begun construction on a new Innovation Center for longtime client Trelleborg Medical Solutions at its Delano, Minnesota campus. The 45,773 square foot expansion is designed to strengthen product development capabilities and accelerate the path from concept to commercialization through advanced manufacturing, automation, and customer collaboration.

Serving as the Design-Build partner, Bauer Design Build is delivering a facility that expands Trelleborg Medical Solutions' manufacturing and innovation capabilities while supporting the company's continued growth. The project includes a new visitor center, the remodel and expansion of the existing tool shop, additional high precision machining and injection molding capabilities, expanded automation and vision laboratory space, and collaborative environments designed to support innovation throughout the product development process.

The project brings engineering, product development, advanced manufacturing, automation, and customer collaboration together under one roof. By centralizing these functions, the new Innovation Center will streamline operations, strengthen collaboration, and better support customers from early-stage prototyping through commercialization.

This milestone marks Bauer Design Build's eleventh project with Trelleborg Medical Solutions and the fourth completed at the company's Delano campus, reflecting a longstanding partnership built on trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement.
