Membership FAQ

How do I register for an account on the new website?

  1. Click “Register” in the top right corner of the website.
  2. Fill out the form with your desired email and password.
    • You will need to confirm your email address later on in this process.
    • Your password must be 8 characters and have at least one letter and one number.
  3. In the “Company” field, start typing the official name of your company – not a shortened or abbreviated version.
    • Example: The Medical Alley Association, Not: Medical Alley, Med Alley, or MAA.
    • If you cannot locate your company, it may be that this company is not in our database.
      • Type the company’s full name in the text box.
      • Click the Tab button on your keyboard.
      • You will see a pop up box that asks you to enter in the new company’s info (i.e. Address and phone).
      • Fill out this info, submit, then proceed to the rest of the application.
  4. At the bottom of the form, click the boxes on the Available Mailing lists to be informed of all the ways you can engage with MAA and the community – you may opt out at any time.
  5. Click “Create My Account!”
  6. Login to your email and look for an email titled “Confirm sign-up for Medical Alley Association website” – make sure to check your junk/spam mail box.
    • Click the link to confirm.
    • Save your password for later use.

How do I become an In-Transition Member?

  1. First you must login to or register an account on the website.
    • Click Login or Register on the top right corner of the website.
    • Follow instructions to login or register.
      • If you do not have an account already, you will need to make one by filling out the form (Follow instructions above in “How do I register for an account on the new website?”).
      • If you already have an account on our website, the system will recognize your name and email and will ask you to choose “This is Me” or “This is NOT Me”.
      • If the system is mistaking you for someone else, click “This is Not Me” and proceed to fill out the form to create your account.
    • Whether you are logging in or registering a new account, make sure to change your COMPANY to "In-Transition Member" in your profile. This will add you as an In-Transition Member! Once you have a new job, you can change your company name in your profile.

How do I know if I am a member or not?

There are two ways to find out if you are a member or not:

  1. Login to your account.
    • On the top right corner of the website, click “Login”.
    • Once logged in you will see your name. Under your name is “Member Type: XXXXX”. If this says “Individual Member”, you are already a member.
  2. On the left side of the Medical Alley webpage, click Membership > Member List.
    • If your company is listed, you and all of your colleagues are members.
    • The member list is updated manually as often as we are able. Therefore, the list in its present form may not be 100% current. Go to the last page of the member list to see the date of the last update.
    • You may also email membership@medicalalley.org to find out if your organization recently became a member.

How do I renew my company’s membership?

  1. You must first be logged into the system to renew.
    • Click Login or Register on the top right corner of the website.
    • Follow instructions to login or register.
      • If you do not have an account already, you will need to make one by filling out the form.
      • If you already have an account on our website, the system will recognize your name and email and will ask you to choose “This is Me” or “This is NOT Me”.
      • If the system is mistaking you for someone else, click “This is Not Me” and proceed to fill out the form to create your account.
      • Now that you have an account and are logged in, continue to step 2.
  2. Click on the “Membership” tab on the left side of the Medical Alley website.
    • Click “Join/Renew Your Membership”.
    • Follow the steps to renew membership.
      • You will need to know your organization’s annual revenue as dues are based on revenue.
      • Select the category that fits your organization’s annual revenue.
    • To pay by check:
      • Select Pay by check option and fill out the form.
      • Make checks payable to “The Medical Alley Association”.
      • Mail checks to 4150 Olson Memorial Hwy, Suite #430, Golden Valley, MN 55422.

How do I make my company a member?

  1. Create an account or login to your existing account (See section “How do I register for an account on the new website?”).
  2. Make sure your company is in the system: Go to your account settings and make sure you are affiliated with the company you wish to register for membership.
    /login/user-account/
    • Click Info
    • If the company you wish to create a membership for is listed, proceed to step three.
    • If a different company (or no company) is listed:
      • Click “CHANGE”.
      • Type your company name or keyword and click “Search”.
      • Select the appropriate company.
    • If your company is not already in the system you will need to “ADD A NEW COMPANY”.
      • Fill out the short form.
      • Click “ADD COMPANY”.
  3. IMPORTANT: Review all your “Info” and click the green “SAVE PERSON” button at the bottom of this form.
  4. On the left side of your screen click the “Membership” Tab.

  5. Click “JOIN/RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP”.
  6. Fill out the membership application.
    • Select “Member” - For Sustaining or Foundational Membership information contact Frank at fjaskulke@medicalalley.org.
    • Choose your membership category by selecting the revenue range for your company.
    • The rest of the fields are optional but recommended.
    • Click submit.
    • Fill out Payment information.

Your company is now an active member of The Medical Alley Association for 12 months. You should receive a confirmation email. Please have your colleagues create their own profile and link themselves to your company in the system.

I am already a member; how do I engage with the association?

  1. Checkout our Events page and sign up for an event or two that look interesting and useful.
    • We have events for networking and education.
    • All of our events come from member suggestions and recommendations.
    • Our community events page shows non-Medical Alley Association events that we think you would enjoy.
  2. Click on our research tab and explore all of the information we have published.
